Three L&B pubs serve a Sunday roast: The Pullman in Folkestone town centre, Harbour Inn on Harbour Street and The Ship Inn in Sandgate. They share one Sunday menu. Choose beef topside, lamb, chicken supreme, roast pork belly or the vegetarian mushroom roast slice.
Every plate comes with roast potatoes, carrots, slow-braised red cabbage, seasonal greens, a Yorkshire pudding and proper gravy. If you can’t decide, there’s a mixed roast. For a hungry table, there’s a sharer platter.
The food is the same at all three, so it comes down to where you’d like to sit.
In town: The Pullman

The Pullman was our first pub. Ben and Lucy took it over in 2014. There’s a fire in the colder months and a garden with palms for sunny days. Children are welcome, and we’ll find a high chair where we have one.
By the harbour: Harbour Inn
24–26 Harbour Street, Folkestone CT20 1QN
Harbour Inn opened in 2017 in the old True Briton. In the week it’s known for fish from the local boats. On Sundays it does the same roast as The Pullman, with a view of the harbour. The Harbour Arm is a short stroll away if you fancy a walk after.
In Sandgate: The Ship Inn
65 Sandgate High Street, Sandgate CT20 3AH
There’s been a pub at The Ship Inn since 1798, and L&B took it on in 2023. The restaurant has a sea view. Walk along the beach to get there and take your time over lunch.
Vegetarian and vegan roasts
The mushroom roast slice is the vegetarian roast at all three pubs, and it comes with the same trimmings. Our Sunday menus don’t list a vegan roast. If you’re vegan, tell us when you book and the team will tell you what they can do.

Sunday lunchtime fills up first, so it’s worth booking. Use the Book a table button and pick your pub. Please mention any allergies or a vegetarian guest when you book, not when the plates arrive.
