Brunch from 11am until 3pm at The Pullman, The Ship Inn and Harbour Inn

Breakfast at The Pullman, The Ship Inn and Harbour Inn runs from 10am to 12, and brunch is served from 11am until 3pm, every day. So if your morning ran on a bit, there’s no need to settle for a sad sandwich. Breakfast is walk-in only. Both menus are new, and the brunch dishes are the same at all three pubs.

Baked Eggs

Our British take on shakshuka. The eggs are baked in gently spiced tomatoes, peppers and beans until they bubble, then served with warm buttered focaccia and fresh spinach. There are three versions, all £14: Goat’s Cheese, Sausage & Bacon, or Spinach & Mushroom (V).

Brunch Toast

This starts with a thick-cut cheese sarnie fried golden in butter, smothered in cheese sauce, and then you choose the topping:

• Buttermilk Chicken, £14, with miso mayo and cherry tomatoes
• Spinach & Tomato (V), £14: earthy pan-fried chestnut mushrooms with silky wilted spinach and plump cherry tomatoes

For something heartier, there’s Steak, Egg & Chimichurri (£18): 21-day dry-aged steak, medium rare, with chimichurri and a runny fried egg.

If you only want something small with your coffee, there’s Focaccia & Preserves for £4.5, served at breakfast and brunch. The focaccia is baked fresh every day.

Eggs

• Eggs Benedict, £8.5: a toasted bagel, two poached eggs and hollandaise
• Eggs & Avocado, £8.5: homemade focaccia with smashed avocado, citrus oil and two poached eggs

You can add bacon (+£2.5), sausage (+£3), smoked salmon (+£3.5) or spinach and mushroom (+£2.5).
