Luben is a wood-fired pizza restaurant at 24 Rendezvous Street, Folkestone CT20 1EZ. It opened in 2016 in the Creative Quarter. You can eat in or take away, and there’s draught beer, wine and soft drinks.
Plenty of pizza in town turns up in a delivery bag. Luben is where you sit down and eat it straight from the oven.
A proper pizzeria
The dough is made fresh and the menu is kept short. Bring friends or bring the family, and take your time. It’s a sit-down restaurant first, and you can take a pizza home too.
Not everyone wants pizza. There’s sourdough garlic bread, salads and pasta on the Luben menu as well.
Where it is
Luben is in the Creative Quarter. Cat & Fiddle at 13 Rendezvous Street is just along the road if you fancy a pint after, and Panataria at 15 Rendezvous Street is there for lunch. Coming from the harbour? It’s a walk up through the old town.
