Harbour Inn, at 24–26 Harbour Street in Folkestone, is known for its mussels and seafood. There are three ways to have the mussels, all served with chunky chips, warm focaccia and grilled lemon. During Folkestone Restaurant Week, from Monday 9 to Friday 13 November 2026, they’re part of a two-course menu for £20.26.
Harbour Inn Mussels
Choose from three, each £22 on the everyday menu:
- Bacon Apple Cider
- Moules à la Marinière (Classic)
- Spicy Tomato & Red Wine
The King Prawn & Mussels Pappardelle (£28) brings king prawns and St. Austell mussels together in a cream and dill sauce.
More seafood on the menu
The Seafood Platter (£65) is for sharing, with calamari, whitebait, Atlantic prawns, beer-battered fish goujons, wholetail scampi and mussels, plus chunky chips and tartare sauce. There’s also Harbour Inn Fish Pot Pie (£18.5), with smoked mackerel, salmon and haddock under mash and a Gruyère crumb, and Beer-Battered Fish & Chips (£19.5). The fish comes from local boats, so have a look at the Catch board for the day’s fresh fish and seafood.
Not a fish fan? Banana Blossom & Chips (VG, £18) is the vegan choice, and there are pies, steaks and burgers too.
Folkestone Restaurant Week, 9 to 13 November
Four L&B venues are taking part: The Pullman, The Ship Inn, Harbour Inn and Luben. At Harbour Inn, it’s two courses for £20.26. The mussels are on, alongside Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, Banana Blossom & Chips (VG) and the pot pies. The starters are shared with our other pubs and include Salt & Pepper Squid and a Classic Prawn Cocktail.
The Restaurant Week menus are served in the restaurant only, not in the bar areas. Book through Book a table as usual. The official details are on the Folkestone & Hythe restaurant week page.

Getting here
Harbour Inn is a short walk from the Folkestone Harbour Arm. L&B reopened it in 2017 in the old True Briton, and there’s a harbour view from the terrace. It’s still a pub, so you’re welcome just for a drink, and dogs are welcome in the bar areas.
