Christmas at L&B 2026: festive menus in Folkestone and Sandgate

This Christmas, four L&B venues have festive set menus. At The Pullman, The Ship Inn and Harbour Inn, it’s two courses for £32.95 or three for £37.95. At Luben, it’s two courses for £24.95 or three for £29.95, for groups. Every menu is on our Christmas page.

It might be a family lunch, a work do or a big table with friends. Here’s what’s cooking.

The Pullman, The Ship Inn and Harbour Inn

Our three pubs share one festive set menu. It runs throughout the festive season, and larger parties need to pre-order.

Starters

There’s chicken liver and brandy parfait with spiced plum chutney and toasted brioche. Or smoked salmon with horseradish crème fraîche. The curried parsnip and sweet potato soup comes with coconut cream, and it’s vegan. Baked Camembert with a cranberry and rosemary glaze is a £3 supplement.

Mains

The roast turkey comes with everything: sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, duck-fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy. There’s roast topside of beef too. You can upgrade to roast striploin with red-wine bone-marrow gravy for a £6 supplement.

For fish, there’s pan-roasted hake with mussels, leeks and a Champagne cream sauce (gluten-free). The wild mushroom, chestnut and cranberry Wellington is vegan.

Desserts

Choose Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, spiced sticky toffee pudding, or Kentish apple and cinnamon crumble with custard. The dark chocolate and orange torte is vegan and gluten-free. The British cheese selection is a £3 supplement.

Luben, 24 Rendezvous Street, Folkestone

Luben does Christmas the Italian way, for groups throughout November & December. It’s two courses for £24.95 or three for £29.95. Some dishes are also priced on their own, like the Christmas Fondue for two at £29.95.

“The Christmas One” pizza has roast turkey, pancetta, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry hot honey. The Italian pigs in blankets come with hot honey and rosemary. Luben’s Christmas Roast puts turkey and porchetta on one plate, with all the trimmings and proper gravy. Festive lasagne and chicken parmigiana are on too.

The fondue is the one to share. It’s hot melted cheese with pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, garlic focaccia, pizza dough bites, porchetta and roasted vegetables for dipping. For afters, there’s tiramisu, warm Nutella doughnuts or Christmas cannoli.

• Smaller tables: use the Book a table button and mention Christmas in the notes.
• Groups and parties: email events@landb-restaurants.co.uk with the booking pack for your venue.
• A £10 non-refundable deposit per person, children included, is due within 7 days of booking.
• Final numbers and pre-orders are due at least 14 days before your booking, along with any special diets.
